Catrice Cosmetics 020 Rose Beige Hd Liquid Foundation Swatches and Review
Today, we are talking about a very popular drugstore foundation! Now bachelor in 23 shades, Catrice'southward HD Liquid Coverage Foundation provides high coverage and a natural looking finish. In addition, this lightweight foundation mattifies the skin and is said to last upwards to 24 hours!

Formula-wise, this is a very thin foundation. Information technology dries quite fast, although I don't have any issue when I employ information technology with a Beautyblender.
It doesn't leave an oily or mucilaginous movie on the skin, in fact information technology feels very lightweight!
The coverage is impressive for such a thin formula, I would say it'south medium coverage with one layer and full coverage with 2.
I e'er only use one layer though, and add a bit of concealer where I need information technology, because I find that it tin look cakey with two layers.
The finish is matte, but much to my surprise it doesn't accentuate dry patches too much. I exercise recommend to apply the HD Liquid Coverage Foundation with a damp Beautyblender though, as applying it with my fingertips didn't give me the best results.
My pare is oily but dehydrated, so I prefer to utilise it over an hydrating or smoothing primer. I've tried it with these 3 primers and had great results:
NARS' Smooth & Protect Primer,
Laura Mercier's new Pure Sail Hydrating Primerand Urban Disuse's new All Nighter Face Primer.
I tried it with
Make Up For Always's Pace i Mattifying Primertoo and information technology made the foundation look a scrap more dry out and cakey, although it was barely noticeable from a normal viewing distance. With that existence said, I would simply use a mattifying primer with this foundation if your skin is very oily.
When I prepare this foundation with a lite dusting of loose powder and a makeup setting spray, it lasts at to the lowest degree 12 hours without breaking downwardly!
As for the mattifying backdrop, it stays completely matte for well-nigh 2 hours on my oily skin. The finish is dewier after that period of time, but I just need to pulverization my nose and brow after three½ hours.
But a give-and-take of caution if your pare is sensitive to fragrance though; this foundation is strongly scented. My peel is sensitive and so far it doesn't seem to trigger my eczema, but I wish it was unscented.
Overall this is a surprisingly good foundation, especially for normal to oily peel types! And for a price that doesn't hurt your banking concern account? Yep please!
